Jackson Pollock

Jackson Pollock (1912-1956),an American painter,was influenced by Picasso, Miro and the Surrealistswas,and was well known for his uniquely defined style of drip painting,very influential in the abstract expressionist movement.He poured and dripped paint onto canvases, challenging the traditional use of an easel and brush,revolutionized a style of painting in which the work has no identifiable parts or focal point.
